Welcome to the first unit of the school year, specially designed to set your child up for a successful, engaging, and enriching academic journey ahead!
Our "School Ready" program is an all-in-one foundation course that covers everything from emotions and friendships to rules and readiness.
School Feelings: Understand the array of emotions, from excitement to nerves, that come with starting a new school year.
Friends & Social Skills: Learn the importance of friendship, how to make new friends, and the value of being a good classmate.
Understanding Rules: Get to grips with the do’s and don’ts of school life to create a respectful and fun learning environment.
Readiness Skills: This isn't just about soft skills; we'll be integrating beginning-of-the-year standards in ELA, Math, and Science into each lesson to make sure your child is well-rounded and ready for the year to come.
Whether your child is entering school for the first time or returning for another year, this unit aims to equip them with the emotional, social, and academic tools they'll need for a successful year.
If you are attending our live, virtual program, this unit will run from September 5-28th. You can also enroll in the self-paced program and complete this course anytime that fits into your busy school schedule!

Communication skills are crucial for a successful school experience. We empower children to express themselves effectively, actively listen, and engage in meaningful conversations with their teachers and classmates. Through fun and interactive exercises, children develop their language and social skills, creating a positive and collaborative learning environment.
We understand the importance of friendships in a child's educational journey. Our program facilitates opportunities for children to connect with their school friends, promoting teamwork, empathy, and cooperation. Together, they engage in play-based learning activities that foster creativity, problem-solving, and relationship building.
Safety and well-being are paramount in our program. We emphasize the importance of good hygiene practices, healthy habits, and safe behavior at school. Children learn essential skills to keep themselves and others safe, building a foundation for a positive and secure school experience.
Our School Readiness curriculum lays a strong foundation for academic success, encompassing key cognitive skills, language and literacy development, social-emotional growth, early math concepts, fine motor skill cultivation, and hands-on exploration of the world. This comprehensive program not only prepares children for school but also serves as an assessment to gauge their readiness and growth.
Our program strikes the perfect balance between rigorous academics and exciting activities. Your child will thrive academically while having fun and building a love for learning that lasts a lifetime.

School Ready begins September 5th and ends on September 28th.
Each student is provided a Learning Kit. The kit includes teacher-created workbooks and other educational materials such as books, manipulatives, art supplies, and tools that will be used during each class.
Parents are responsible for providing basic school supplies such as pencils, crayons, scissors, and glue. Also, a stable internet connection and computer device are required.
My curriculum approach includes a mix of direct instruction, independent practice, instructional games, and real-world, hands-on activities. With children in mind, I aim to provide ample opportunities for play and exploration.
We also use ClassDojo, IXL, RAZ-KIDS, Epic and Scholastic as supplemental resources for class and home instruction.
The level of parental assistance needed during class varies depending on the child. Parents should expect to be present or nearby to help out if needed. Older siblings can be great helpers as well!
