Need It or Want It?" is a three-week course where kids learn to spot needs vs. wants, explore the value of money, and build economic skills through fun, hands-on activities.

In the "Need It or Want It?" course, your child will gain practical knowledge and essential skills that will serve them for years to come. Through engaging, hands-on lessons, they’ll explore:


  • Needs vs. Wants: Understand the difference between what’s necessary and what’s nice to have.


  • The Value of Money: Learn the basics of how money works and how to make thoughtful spending decisions.


  • Smart Choices: Practice decision-making skills through real-life scenarios and fun role-playing activities.


  • Foundational Economic Concepts: Build an understanding of resources, saving, and budgeting in a way that’s age-appropriate and meaningful.


  • Critical Thinking Skills: Learn to analyze choices and prioritize what matters most.

  • Monday-Wednesday: 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM EST (Academic Sessions)
